What is the format of the conference?

Our Keynote Speaker, Joe Newbert, will kick off the day with his exceptional presentation "Built to Lead" - a look at our leadership responsibility in business analysis and product ownership. Joe believes we have reached a tipping point. 

It's well worth coming to hear Joe speak. He is a dynamic and exceptional public speaker. Internationally recognised as a speaker. Joe also serves as the Business Change Academy's Chief Training Officer. 

We will hold two, possibly three, skill workshops in the morning. Sophie Chen and Greg Ng will present their workshop "How to Ask Good Questions," which will teach us how to uncover facts and problems, identify gaps, and many other questioning skills required by business analysts and product owners. 

The second workshop is nearly finished and will be announced soon. 

These workshops will take place concurrently. You will have the option of attending one of them, but you will be able to watch the one you missed after the conference!!! To access the recordings after the conference, you must have purchased a conference ticket. 

We will run 2-3 presentations at a time from world-renowned speakers such as Ryan Folster, Filip Hendrikx, Jits Doolabh, and others for the remainder of the day.

Jits is the co-founder of Fr@nk Innovation. He presented a webinar for us earlier this year about using Kanban to improve flow in our work. Jits is back to present how we can improve flow within teams.

Erika Barden - What is Scaled the Agile Framework and how BA's and PO fit in

Erika is an Agile Transformation Specialist, and she will look at how the roles of BA and PO fit into SAFe.

Filip Hendrickx -MVP Demystified: Moving Beyond Scope

Filip is co-author of the book "Brainy Glue" - a BA novel, and co-founder of the BABeyond conference in Brussels. He is also the president of the Brussels, chapter of the IIBA.
